PRACTICE PLAN
Wedge drills inside 100 yards.
Wedges are the highest-leverage scoring club in your bag. These drills build the half-swing, the knockdown, and the three-trajectory tool kit you need to attack pins instead of just landing on the green.

Frequently asked
What is a half-wedge drill?
Hit wedges with a hip-high backswing only. Hold the finish 2 seconds. The narrow swing length forces tempo and contact — exactly the feel you need at 40-60 yards on the course.
Why is wedge practice so important?
Wedge approaches happen on most par-4s and par-5s. A 10-foot improvement in average proximity at 70-100 yards drops your scores faster than driver distance does.
