The drill library

Every drill the Solid Swings engine can pull into your personalized plan. Tap any drill to see what it trains, how to do it, and the success criterion that tells you when you have nailed it.

Driving (22)

Driving is the single biggest leak for handicaps above 12. Every fairway missed costs the average golfer roughly half a stroke. The drills in this section train a repeatable shape, controlled trajectory, and the discipline to pick the right club for the hole.

Iron play (22)

Iron play is the leverage point for scoring at most handicaps. Greens-in-regulation is the #1 statistical predictor of round score. These drills train strike consistency, distance control, and the ability to commit to an aim spot under pressure.

Wedge play (17)

Inside 100 yards is where you stop losing strokes and start scoring. Wedge drills sharpen distance control, low-spinning flighted shots, and confidence with the in-between yardages every round throws at you.

Chipping & Pitching (18)

Up-and-down conversion is what separates 90-shooters from 80-shooters. These drills build touch around the green, trust in your go-to chip trajectory, and the ability to handle short-sided lies most amateurs avoid.

Putting (18)

Putting eats more amateur strokes than any other skill. Three-putts and missed five-footers are the silent handicap killers. These drills train stroke repeatability, lag distance control, and the make-rate confidence that turns clutch moments into makes.
