PRACTICE PLAN
Putting drills that drop your three-putt count.
Three-putts are the silent handicap killer. These drills build the gate-square stroke, the lag distance feel, and the 4-to-8-foot conversion rate that turns scorecards around.

Frequently asked
What is the best putting drill for beginners?
The Gate Drill. Place two tees just wider than your putter head, 6 inches in front of the ball. Hit 20 putts through the gate. Trains a square face at impact, the #1 fundamental.
Can I practice putting at home?
Yes, on an indoor mat. Path, face, and tempo all train on flat carpet. Speed (lag distance) needs a real green eventually, but stroke work is fully indoor-friendly.
